Build Guide - Calibration

For calibration, testing and general operation, a MIDI Keyboard is required.
This should have a minimum of 3 octaves and ideally be a 5-octave unit or larger.

Not required for normal operation but if the keyboard has PITCHBEND and/or MODULATION wheels
then they will be recognised by the Odysseus

 

The location of all tespoints can be found by referring to this diagram.

First Time Power Up

We recommend that for the 1st time power up that all ICs are removed from their sockets.

Apply power and measure the power rails at the points indicated on the TESTPOINTS diagram:-

+15V should be +15.0V +/-0.3V

-15V should be -15.0V +/-0.3V

+5V should +5.0V +/- 0.2V
