This utility module converts an
unbalanced AC output from your synth into a
balanced output suitable for interfacing to
external equipment such as a mixer or
amplifier.
The use of balanced outputs negates
possible ground loop problems and addresses
the issue of connecting a synth with a
floating power supply to external audio
equipment with a grounded supply.
Two identical circuits are provided
allowing for stereo applications.
It is quite feasible to integrate the
CGS412 in to an existing module such as a
mixer and bring the outputs out via the back
of the boat and so negate the need to assign
panel space to it.
