JP301 allows for optional switches to
add the 1st through to 8th bits to the [RANDOM
MELODY]. If links 5-8 are left open, the
melody will be limited to 16 notes. The links
can be either permanently hard-wired (default)
or have jumpers fitted to set the desired
number of bits semi-permanently.
