Our 6U 84HP Tower Boats use the exact same construction methods as our Tower Racks but uses 100mm deep Side Panels for a shallower boat (available module depth is >80mm) making them ideal for fitting in to mixer cases such as the SWAMP ABS Mixer Case.
The Basic Tower Boat as shown is designed to be mounted into an external case by directly attaching to the walls of the case, this gives the user the narrowest case width but means the boat is fixed in place. The optional Ear Kit can be added to provide the conventional 19" rack mounting option but increases the case width by ~2" (51mm).
The Basic Tower Boat provides 2x 85HP of module space. Adding the Ear Kit reduces this to the conventional 2x 84HP of module space.
The Powered Tower Boat includes an ED705 Powered Busboard paired along with an 3x ED704 Passive busboard providing support for up to 48 modules. If your system requires extra power then 1 of the ED704's can be replaced with a 2nd ED705
