  1. Set [GAIN] to maximum
  2. Set P101 to its mid-position
  3. Set P201 to its mid-position
  4. Patch a 500Hz 5VDC p-p sawtooth in to [LIN]
  5. Adjust P201 for minimum breakthrough
  6. Remove the patch to [LIN]
  7. Monitor [OUT] with a multimeter
  8. Patch 3VDC in to [LOG] and [DC IN]
  9. Adjust P103 for a reading of 6VDC
  10. Disconnect the patch to [LOG]
  11. Adjust P101 for a reading of 3VDC
  12. Repeat steps (8) to (11) to ensure consistent results
