Build Guide - Calibration

Inverter Adjustment

  1. Remove [JP301]
  2. Patch a 4.0VDC signal into [INVERTER IN]
  3. Monitor [INVERTER OUT] with a multimeter
  4. Adjust P302 for 4.0VDC to within less than +/- 4mV
  5. Refit [JP301]

NB: The following procedures require a dual-channel oscilloscope.

 [IN 1] Adjust

  1. Monitor [IN 1] with one channel of the scope
  2. Monitor [OUT] with the other scope
  3. Patch a 1kHz 5VAC triangle to [IN 1]
  4. Set [XFADE] fully counter-clockwise
  5. Adjust P103 and P201 until the 2 signals match exactly -
    1. use P201 to adjust the vertical offset, and
    2. use P103 to adjust the amplitude of the signal at [OUT]

[IN 2] Adjust

  1. Monitor [IN 2] with one channel of the scope
  2. Monitor [OUT] with the other scope
  3. Patch a 1kHz 5VAC triangle to [IN 2]
  4. Set [XFADE] fully clockwise
  5. Adjust P102 and P202 until the 2 signals match exactly -
    1. use P202 to adjust the vertical offset, and
    2. use P102 to adjust the amplitude of the signal at [OUT]
