Set all controls to minimum Patch [SMOOTH CYCLE] to [SMOOTH IN] Monitor [SMOOTH OUT] Adjust P303 for 1.6kHz Patch a 10Hz 5VDC square wave in to [HOLD] Confirm that [SMOOTH OUT] is cycling ON and OFF Remove jumper JP1 Patch [STEPPED CYCLE] to [STEPPED IN] Monitor [STEPPED OUT] Adjust P403 fully clockwise Adjust P403 until the frequency just starts to drop - this should typically be in the region of 500Hz to 550Hz Install jumper JP1 Patch [SMOOTH OUT] in to [STEPPED IN] Patch a 10Hz 5VDC square wave in to [SAMPLE] Set [SMOOTH RATE] to 12 o’clock Confirm that [STEPPED OUT] is stepping between random DC levels
