1) Small

The external dimensions of this case are 405mm x 250mm x 95mm.

The internal dimensions are 385mm x 235mm x 52mm for the base section with the lid having a depth of 22mm. This internal width is after the lid stay and foam liner have been removed.

These dimensions allow for a 74HP 3U Lite Rack to be fitted (foam liner does not need to be removed). This will leave about 106mm of free space which could be used to store patch cables and a power supply. Alternatively 74HP 1U(*) rack could be added.

As this is quite a shallow case, it is recommended that a +/-12V supply be fitted in the free space. Our ED711 busboard is ideal for this application and keeps the module space free of all cables.

2) Large

The external dimensions of this case are 450mm x 320mm x 145mm.

The internal dimensions are 440mm x 312mm x 90mm for the base section with the lid having a depth of 45mm. This image shows the large case fitted with our 100mm 6U 84HP Construct-A-Boat - the upper foam section has also been removed to allow the system to remain patched during transit.

These dimensions allow for an 86HP 6U Lite Rack to be installed . This will leave about 50mm of free space for storing small items such as patch cables.

The 90mm depth may be suitable for some installations to allow for a low-profile busboard to be mounted on the bottom of the case or in the remaining space at the back of the case. It is also possible to use a deeper unit (such as above with our 100mm Construct-A-Boat or a Studio 700 6U 84HP unit) and have the rack extend into the lid area.
