Installing and Using TickTock
Installing TickTock as a stand-alone program
- Unzip the file TICKTOCK.ZIP
- Copy the file TICKTOCK.APP to a suitable APP
directory on your machine. You will also need to copy the file SYS$8087.LDD in
to the same location
- Install the TickTock application as normal (Psion-I
or via the Apps/Install option via the System menu).
- Start the TickTock application and select `Settings'. You MUST specify a setting for the MIDI Interface Output Port. For the freeware version this will be
either 'RS232-38,400 baud' or `RS232 - 57,600 baud'. You must also provide the correct cables for connecting your Psion to the MIDI device (see
`Connecting to your MIDI device' for further details). Press <ENTER> when set.
- Select `Metronome' from the menu, press <ENTER>
and enjoy!!!

Installing TickTock as a plugin to MIDI3c
- Unzip the file TICKTOCK.ZIP
- Copy the file TICKTOCK.APP to the same location as
MIDI3C.APP
- Start the TickTock application by selecting
`Metronome' from the `Utilities' menu on MIDI3c
- Now read the User Guide
