Please note that where indicated, module DEPTH
is the required depth from the back face of the front panel
to the
back of the module and includes any clearance required to
accomodate IDC cables used to connect boards internally.
Elby Designs are
pleased to announce the release of some of the popular CGS
range of designs in EuroRack format.
The range consists of completely re-designed PCB's adapted
for the smaller format of the EuroRack system.
We offer both fully-assembled
modules as well as Component
and Hardware Kits.

In addition to
the CGS modules we
also offer a range of modules designed by Ian Fritz and a
number of other designs.

Other
modules on the design table include :-

All-in-one
Power Module
All Panther
modules (currently) are available with 4mm banana sockets
in place of the 3.5mm jacks.
The colour scheme adopted (click on link below) has been adopted
from the Serge Modular system guideline with the addition
of
3 extra colours to differentiate between INPUTs and OUTPUTs.
Panther
and 4mm Banana Jacks
All
Panther units are offered in the following options:-
-
A
fully assembled and tested module ready to plug directly
in to your EuroRack system. Power supply connection
is via a Doepfer A-100 compatible connection.
- A COMPLETE
component kit. This includes all the boards for the module,
a Front Panel and all the components required to fully dress
the board(s) and panel.
- The Front
Panel. A high-quality 2mm aluminium panel with photo-etched
black printing
- PCB Set.
A full set of PCBs as required to construct the Panther module

EuroRack
and FracRack
The question
regularly arises "Can I mix EuroRack and FracRack modules
in my system?". This document
tries to answer this question by looking at some of the major
factors that affect this question but the best answer is "no,
utilise separate sub-racks for each module family and minimise
the risk of problems".
This
document tries to answer some questions about the decisions
behind building a modular system with a bias towards the Eurorack
system.
