The miniMIDI-WASP Interface Unit
lets you control your WASP, GNAT or any other EDP LINK compatible
device from any suitable MIDI controller such as a PC, MIDI
Keyboard or MIDI Sequencer.
A 2-way dipswitch on the board
lets you map the WASP keyboard to a range of MIDI Note values
as shown in the table below:-

A 4-way
dipswitch lets the user assign the MIDI Channel to which the
WASP will respond
This unit is also available fully
assembled and tested.
The miniMIDI-WASP board will
fit neatly in to the space at the rear of the WASP as can
be seen in the picture below

MIDI-LINK
The MIDI-LINK
is a retrofit module that converts an EDP LINK-based controller
such as the EDP Spider in to a MIDI controller.
The module is mounted inside your equipment and taps in to
the 5V power supply
and the connections to the LINK socket.
The existing LINK socket is replaced (it can be left in circuit
if preferred) with a
standard 5-pin MIDI-OUT socket.
The MIDI-LINK
uses the same pcb as the miniMIDI-WASP but with a
slight alteration to the component kit and custom firmware.
