The ED111 offers a new approach to powering your system. The ED111 provodes 12 individually regulated power module outputs. Each output comprises 2 linear regulator circuits offering high quality power rail conditioning to each module and isolation of the rails between modules. Both rails are capable of delivering in excess of 500mA* to each module. Total loading on the -12V rail for the whole busboard is approximately 600mA. For the +12V, each module output can supply in excess of 500mA.Multiple ED111 boards can be cascaded in series as the ED111 employs a busbar design to the main power feed which is +15VDC. Alternately your system can be expanded by adding a Powered Passive Busboards such as our ED126. Additional passive outputs can be added through either extra ED126 or ED123 boards This allows for a lower cost solution where critical modules are powered from the ED111 while non-sensitive/critical modules are powered from the passive distribution boards.The ED111 footprint is designed to fit in to a 42HP section of your subrack so, for example, a regular 3U 84HP rack can power up to 24 modules with one board per 42HP section.An optional 4HP Front Panel allows the user access to the power in socket and on/off switch or for those wanting to mount these components on the back/side/bottom of their cases there is the ED111 Power Plate.* Subject to change
The ED123 provides 12 module outputs on a board designed to fit in to a 3U 42HP section of your subrack. The ED123 employs quick-connect spade terminals for fast and easy termination.Being a passive design, it requires a +/-12VDC power supply such as our ED122 or ED126.If your system requires 5VDC we recommend using our EURO-5V Adaptors.
The ED126 combines the ED122 and ED123 in to a single unit providing a busboard with integral +/-12V regulators providing up to 1.5A @ +12V and 1A @ -12V with 12 module outputs.As with the ED111 and ED123, the ED126 is designed to occupy a 3U 42HP space and can be expanded with the addition of ED123 boards for larger systems. We would recommend a maximum of 3 x ED123 boards per ED126 but larger numbers of ED123 can be added as long as you take note of the maximum loading for an ED126. The ED126 requires an external power supply of, nominally, 15VDC @ 2.4A
The ED705 is a low-profile variation on the ED126 unit utilising right-angle IDC headers and a re-designed layout for the regulators that allow the unit to achieve a maximum height of only 11mm.As with the ED111, ED123, ED126 and ED704, the ED705 is designed to occupy a 3U 42HP space and can be expanded with the addition of ED704 boards for larger systems. We would recommend a maximum of 3 x ED704 boards per ED705 but larger numbers of ED704 can be added as long as you take note of the maximum loading for an ED705. The ED705 requires an external power supply of, nominally, 15VDC @ 2.4A
Sets of bolts/screws, spacers and nuts to mount our ED111/ED123/ED126/ED704/ED705 busboards in to your system. Currently we off three variants:-1) Metal Mounting Kit - Intended for when you mount the busboards on to a metal panel such as the Back Panel in our Tower Racks. Kits include M3x12mm bolts which set the maximum thickness of the mounting plate to about 3.5mm. This kit should also be used with our Busboard Carrier Plate.2) Wood Mounting Kit (Internal) - Intended for when you mount the busboards in to a wooden (or similar) enclosure and wish to secure from inside the case i.e. no external holes. Recommended minimum material thickness is 13mm to ensure a robust fixing although down to 10mm is possible.3) Wood Mounting Kit (External) - Intended for when you mount the busboards in to a wooden (or similar) enclosure with a material thickness of less than 10mm.
